WHO IS CHRISTINA?
I was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to New York City during high school. Growing up, I loved watching anime and cartoons, which really sparked my passion for storytelling and cool visuals. That interest led me to explore animation, where I learned a lot about design and how to communicate ideas through motion. Over time, I got more excited about UI and UX design because it lets me use both my creative side and problem-solving skills.
I also had the chance to work in the music industry as a motion graphics designer, creating visuals for artists that brought their sound and identity to life through motion. Now I'm a Graduate of Lehman College majoring in Computer Graphics and Imaging.
I got to bring that motion design background to life as a Motion Design Intern for the New York Islanders during the 2026 season, where I created A Z board, A-frame, lower thirds, ribbon boards and voMs graphics used throughout the season. It was an incredible opportunity to see my animation and design work come together for a live sports audience and gain hands-on experience designing under real broadcast and gameday deadlines.
When I'm not designing, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring nature, and staying active through fitness. I'm a coffee enthusiast who loves finding cozy spots to unwind. My lifelong love of cartoons fuels my creativity and sense of play, while cinema inspires my passion for storytelling. These interests keep me energized and inspire my work every day.
